YFC brings answers to students' questions!

For the majority of youth today, they feel hopeless and in despair.  Many are looking for good answers to the greatest questions in their lives and few are finding them. Student’s hopelessness in searching for answers can easily be seen by reading almost any newspaper or watching any news channel.  Daily stories expose the hopeless state of teenagers living in today's world.  Despression and suicide are on the rise with new STD's being introduced every day, government agencies seek to institute anti-bullying legislation to try and control and change students aggressive and crude conduct.  Every day the abuse of alcohol and drugs ruins more lives. With all of these things taking place, many wonder if any real change in human behavior and emotion is possible. Many wonder if there is any sufficient basis for having real and lasting hope. We know there is and it rests upon the authority of the Christian Bible and the person of Jesus Christ.

The questions students have are many. What happens when I die? Does morality ( a universal system of right and wrong) exist? How do you determine what is right and wrong?  Is morality cultural, social, or universal?  What is truth?  How can you know it?  Can you know it?  Is God real? Who is Jesus?  How do I know if heaven is real?  Do all religions teach the same thing?  Do I need to go to Church for God to love me?  What is a “Christian”?  What happens to people who aren’t “Christians”?  Can a person know anything about the existence of God?  How can I be sure that God exists?  Do I have purpose?  Does my life have any real meaning?  Am I loved?  Who loves me?  Does God actually care about what I do?
